We stopped by Vulcan on the way home from work and I rented the following fabulous viewables:
LOVE IS THE DEVIL
THE GODFATHER
DONNIE BRASCO
POLTERGEIST
I am embarrassed to admit that I have never seen THE GODFATHER (the handful of scenes I saw of the tail end of the truncated TV version don't count). As for the last one, we'll see if it creeps out my shit now the way it did when I saw it in the theater when it was first released....
EDIT: Does anybody reading this in Austin have THE SOPRANOS on dvd? I was going to rent the first two discs of the first season (yes, I've never seen a single episode, I am poor and don't have cable... deal), but they were checked out. I'm dying to see the series, but there's no way I'm going to cough up the $$$ (even if I had it, which I don't) to buy the whole series, and it looks like renting it from Vulcan may be problematic if I want to see the episodes in any semblance of order....
